Lowsunday, formed in Pittsburgh Pa in 1994, is a dreampop, post punk band and is among the first wave of American shoegaze bands of the 1990’s.
Lowsunday , formed as Low Sunday Ghost Machine, had independently released various ep’s, demos, singles and two full length albums. 1996 self titled Low Sunday Ghost Machine And 1999’s Lowsunday: Elesgiem released on Projekt Records.
Lowsunday has been honored by being placed on post-punk.com’s “100 essential dream pop releases” for their record Elesgiem As well as being placed on Alternative Press’s “100 bands you need to know” list.
